Substitute - Early Childhood Paraprofessional

As one of SPIN’s substitute Early Childhood Paraprofessional, you will be doing the following:

• Assist teachers in an inclusive preschool setting with children who are typically developing and those with special needs
• Assists in providing direct supervision, care & training to children.
• Carry out educational, creative & recreational activities in classroom or play park.

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Child Development Associate certificate preferred.
• 1-2 years experience working with young children preferred. Experience working with children with disabilities a plus.
• Good organizational skills.
• Clear, pleasant and courteous communicator, both written and oral.
• Dedication to young children.
• Ability to work independently as well as be an effective multi-disciplinary team member.


Substitutes work on an as-needed basis- filling in for vacations/leave of regular staff.

Hourly Rate is $9.50 per hour

We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
