SPIN Receives a Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) to Host Information Session to Promote Work Incentives for Persons with Disabilities
(Philadelphia, PA) November 2, 2009—Special People In Northeast, Inc, (SPIN, Inc.) was awarded a Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) to provide information on how to access state and federal work incentives for persons with disabilities between the ages of 14 - 64 who receive Social Security Administration (SSA) benefits or otherwise have a qualifying impairment by Medicaid standards. The goal of the Information Session is to provide information about incentives for persons with disabilities to return to the workforce. The Information Session is free and light refreshments will be provided. This project was funded through the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant CFDA #93.768.
The Information Sessions will be held November 17, 2009 from 6 to 7 pm at the Norcom Community Center located at 10980 Norcom Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. www.nccfun.org Persons interested in attending should contact Pat Wray at pwray@spininc.org or call 215.612.7638. Walk-ins are also welcome.
