Current Awards & Recognition
2008- SPIN, Inc., Children’s Services, received the "Best Place to Work" award by the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) at DVAEYC's Early Childhood conference on Saturday, April 12th, 2008 for their child development program.
2008- The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) awarded Tia DeFlavia of Special People In Northeast, Inc. its 2008 PA Direct Support Professional of the Year award. ANCOR evaluated nearly 200 nominations of highly-qualified DSPs to select the national and state winners. The chosen winners each demonstrated a commitment to improving people's social capital, inclusion, and independence.

2007 - Training Magazine changed its Top 100 list to Top 125 and SPIN, Inc. is again the sole nonprofit to be recognized for innovative approaches to investing in our workforce. 2004 - ANCOR Foundation Community Builder: A national recognition of SPIN's Norcom Community Center honoring its role in building an inclusive community
