2009- SPIN's Three Early Childhood Centers all earn STAR 4 Status! Keystone STARS (Standards, Training, Assistance and Support) was instituted by the Department of Public Welfare's Office of Child Development and Early Learning to ensure that all Pennsylvania families have access to high quality early care and education to foster success in school and life. Star 4 is the highest level of achievement for early learning programs in Pennsylvania.
2009- SPIN is proud to announce that it has once again achieved a place among the globally elite with a ranking of #31 in Training Magazine's 2009 Top 125 for workforce training and development. 2008- SPIN, Inc., Children’s Services, received the "Best Place to Work" award by the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) at DVAEYC's Early Childhood conference on Saturday, April 12th, 2008 for their child development program.
2008- The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) awarded Tia DeFlavia of Special People In Northeast, Inc. its 2008 PA Direct Support Professional of the Year award. ANCOR evaluated nearly 200 nominations of highly-qualified DSPs to select the national and state winners. The chosen winners each demonstrated a commitment to improving people's social capital, inclusion, and independence.
2007 - CIO Top 100: CIO Magazine recognizes companies for excellence in IT and using technology to transform business. SPIN's Solution's Team used IT to solve emerging issues in productivity. The Awards Ceremony will be held August 19 in Carlsbad, CA. http://www.cio.com/cio100/detail/1737

2007 and 2008- Training Magazine changed its international Top 100 list to Top 125 and SPIN, Inc. was recognized for innovative approaches to investing in our workforce by being named to the Top 125 in 2007 and 2008. Training Top 125 2008
2006 - Service Industry Advertising Award (SIAA): A national recognition for our creative website, SPIN was honored with the top tier Gold Award
2004 - ANCOR Foundation Community Builder: A national recognition of SPIN's Norcom Community Center honoring its role in building an inclusive community
2003 - Mutual of America's Community Partnership Award: A national recognition for innovative partnering with the business community to achieve critical nonprofit outcomes
2003 - University of Minnesota and NADSP's Moving Mountains Award: A national recognition for innovative approaches to workforce development in the field of disabilities
